SOLMACC – Countering climate change in agriculture
The SOLMACC project aims to demonstrate that farming can be climate-friendly when applying optimised farming practices.
The project’s first newsletter has been released. It introduces the five partners of the consortium and presents the overall objective: encouraging climate friendly farming practices.
Readers also learn about the network of twelve farms that are implementing climate friendly practices and serve as best practices.
The project is coordinated by IFOAM EU in collaboration with Ekologiska Lantbrukarna (Sweden), the Italian Association of Organic Agriculture (AIAB,), the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Germany) and Bioland Beratung GmbH (Germany).
SOLMACC is a LIFE-co-funded project.
