Countering climate change in agriculture: SOLMACC newsletter #6
The SOLMACC project’s sixth newsletter has been released. In this newsletter you'll learn more about:
- Optimised crop rotation, one of the project's climate-friendly practices that is being applied by the participating farmers
- The SOLMACC project presentation at the seminar 'How can the CAP drive climate change mitigation and adaptation in the agriculture sector?'
- The five Open Field Day at SOLMACC demonstration farms in Germany, Italy and Sweden
The SOLMACC project aims to demonstrate that farming can be climate-friendly when applying optimised farming practices.
The project is coordinated by IFOAM EU in collaboration with Ekologiska Lantbrukarna (Sweden), the Italian Association of Organic Agriculture (AIAB,), the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Germany) and Bioland Beratung GmbH (Germany). The project received support from the Stiftung Mercator.
SOLMACC is a LIFE-co-funded project
