PRESS STATEMENT: Organic movement’s research & innovation priorities launched at Organic Innovation Days

BRUSSELS, 4 DECEMBER 2019 –  TP Organics, the European Technology Platform for Organic Food and Farming, launched its new Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda at its annual Organic Innovation Days.

As a founding member of TP Organics, IFOAM EU fully supports this agenda. It puts forward the four priority research areas for Horizon Europe, the EU’s next research and innovation framework programme.

The new Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda identifies four priority research areas:

  • Moving organics forward: Priorities for the organic sector
  • Climate-resilient, diversified farming systems based on ecological approaches
  • Redesign of food and agricultural policies
  • Sustainable value chains for better food systems
